Beautiful deep ruby colour. Fresh and vibrant aromas of ripe red cherry, blueberry, peony, and a touch of mineral granite. On the palate, juicy and round with fine, silky tannins and a refreshing, lingering finish. A Beaujolais Cru of real character and charm.

Appellation: Brouilly AOC, Beaujolais, France.

Grape Variety: 100% Gamay.

Soil: Granite and blue volcanic rock, characteristic of the Brouilly hill.

Vinification: Traditional Beaujolais semi-carbonic maceration, whole bunches. 4–10 days maceration.

Ageing: Stainless steel vats, 10–12 months.

Cellaring: Optimal 2–5 years, potential 7 years.

Food Pairing: Charcuterie, grilled salmon, light poultry, fresh goat's cheese.
