Nice and deep purple colour with a purplish hue.
To the nose, aromas of ripe fruits, toastiness, animal, leather and wood.
Frank and powerful attack, suave mouth, the roundness of the tannins and the precision of the ageing in oak barrels make it a well-balanced wine.

To be served at 17-18°C with a beef roast with mushrooms or roasted quails with seasonal vegetables.
It will enhance a Foie Gras terrine or an assortment of strong cheeses.
