Nose : intense, expressive with tobacco, leather, prune and cocoa notes.
Palate : dominated by the tannins, structured, with coffee and once again prune and cocoa notes.

- 68% Merlot, 17% cabernet Sauvignon, 15% cabernet Franc. Terroirs : Old vines on Limestone soils. Harvesting : Hand-picked. Vinification : In truncated cone-shaped stainless steel tanks with maceration and micro- oxygenation to obtain wines for ageing. Ageing : 24 to 30 months with 15% new oak, 65% one year-old barrels and 20% two year-old barrels. No fining or filtering during ageing. Bottled using gravity. Cellaring potential : Between 6 and 8 years. Food pairings : Try with beef/OX tongue, with roast beef or cheese.
