Les Granits Blanc is the prestigious white Saint-Joseph from M. Chapoutier, sourced from a single parcel of old Marsanne vines planted on the granite soils that give the wine its name. It is one of the finest expressions of white Saint-Joseph produced in the northern Rhône.
Brilliant pale gold with a complex and aromatic nose of white flowers, ripe pear, apricot, toasted almond, and a distinctive mineral, floral note from the granite soils. Rich and textured on the palate with excellent freshness, a creamy mid-palate, and an exceptionally long, mineral finish.
Appellation: Saint-Joseph AOC. Grape: 100% Marsanne. Viticulture: Certified biodynamic. Food Pairing: Lobster, roasted turbot, cream-based dishes. Cellaring: 8–15 years.
