Les Folatières is one of the finest Premier Crus in Puligny-Montrachet, situated on the upper slopes of the village adjacent to the Grand Crus. The elevated position and thin, stony soils give the wine a distinctive mineral precision and finesse that sets it apart from lower-lying Premier Crus.
Brilliant pale gold. Intense and complex nose of white flowers, lemon curd, green apple, and a pronounced flinty minerality. On the palate, the wine is precise and focused with excellent concentration, vibrant acidity, and a long, saline mineral finish of great purity. A wine of real elegance and distinction.
