Tasting Notes: Alphonse Mellot is one of Sancerre's most iconic producers, with roots dating back to 1513. La Moussiere is their flagship estate. This red Sancerre shows pale ruby with aromas of fresh raspberry, cherry, and a distinctive chalky mineral note from the flint (silex) soils. Light-bodied and silky with a long pure finish.
 
Pairing: Grilled salmon or tuna, Charcuterie and pate, Goat's cheese (Crottin de Chavignol), Light pasta dishes.
