Created in the 1970s by Robert Drouhin as "the Burgundy to unveil Burgundy", Laforêt is the archetype of elegant, approachable red Burgundy. Sourced from carefully selected parcels near the top of the slopes, close to the forest — hence the name Laforêt ("the forest" in French).
Bright ruby colour with a nose rich in red fruit aromas: raspberry, red currants, and wild strawberry. On the palate, the wine is pleasant, fruity and refreshing, with light tannins and great elegance. A perfect introduction to the world of Burgundy Pinot Noir.
Vintage 2022: Impressive brightness and intensity. Complex nose of blackberry, blueberry and blackcurrant with floral scents of peony and violet. Silky, high-quality tannins with excellent balance.
