Grands Echezeaux is one of Burgundy's most prestigious Grand Crus, situated in the commune of Flagey-Echezeaux on the Côte de Nuits. Producing just a few thousand cases per year, it is among the rarest and most sought-after wines in the world. Joseph Drouhin's parcel produces a wine of extraordinary finesse and complexity.

In its youth, the wine displays aromas of great finesse — cherry, dark chocolate, and cocoa bean — delicate and highly sought after. With age, the nose evolves to reveal notes of truffle, forest floor, and exotic spice. On the palate, the tannins are present but silky, bringing evidence of a long, elegant finish. A wine that ages gracefully to reveal subtle and refined aromas of supreme complexity.

Vintage 2021: One of the smallest harvests in Burgundy's history, producing harmonious and elegant reds with lower alcohol and exceptional freshness — a truly Burgundian vintage.

Harvest: Hand-picked in open-work crates with careful sorting.

Ageing: French oak barrels, 30% new. 16–20 months.

Appellation: Grands Echezeaux Grand Cru AOC, Côte de Nuits, Burgundy, France.

Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir.

Cellaring: 15–25 years.
