"Les Amoureuses" — "the lovers" — is widely regarded as the finest Premier Cru in all of Burgundy, consistently rated at near-Grand Cru level. One of the gems of Domaine Joseph Drouhin, this vineyard sits at the heart of the Côte de Nuits, directly adjacent to the Grand Cru Musigny.

One of the most subtle wines in all of Burgundy. The colour varies from cherry to ruby. A large palette of seductive aromas evolves from raspberry to kirsch, later revealing truffle, mushroom, and woody notes. The aromas are always restrained and elegant. On the palate, a wonderful silky sensation with very refined tannins — intensity, velvety texture and lively freshness in perfect harmony. The aftertaste is supremely refined.

Vintage 2022: Impressive brightness and intensity. Complex nose combining blackberry, blueberry and blackcurrant with floral peony and violet. Silky tannins, ample and full-bodied with excellent ageing potential.
