Moulin à Vent is widely regarded as the "King of Beaujolais" — the Cru closest in style to the great Pinot Noirs of the Côte d'Or. The vineyard surrounds a 300-year-old windmill high on a hill, cultivated since Roman times. The unique pink granite soils with manganese in the subsoil give this wine its distinctive structure and longevity.

Great breed. Beautiful dark garnet colour. Intense and elegant aromas of peony, tea rose, and damson plum, often with nuances of liquorice. On the palate, beautiful structure, velvety texture, and majesty. The aftertaste is long, refined and appetising — the Beaujolais Cru that most closely resembles the great wines of the Côte d'Or.
