Blend: 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc

Chateau Lafleur-Gazin has a deep color, vivid nose and good texture backed by a firm tannic structure. A few years of cellaring will ensure full enjoyment.

JS92   James Suckling

Plenty of blueberry, cherry and plum character with hints of smoke. It’s full-bodied with firm tannins and a bright and juicy finish. Lovely fruit and acid balance.

WE90   Wine Enthusiast

A smooth wine that is ripe with rich berry and dark-plum fruits. With its soft tannins and juicy crisp acidity, the wine is warm, rounded and likely to develop quickly. Drink this already attractive smoky wine from 2020.

WS9 Wine Spectator

Earl Grey tea, singed cedar, gently mulled cherry and damson plum flavors mingle here, giving way to a slightly firm edge. There's lots of charm in the middle, with a pretty incense note stretching out the finish. Drink now through 2026.
