Tasting Notes: Gevrey-Chambertin is the most celebrated village of the Côte de Nuits, home to nine Grand Crus including the legendary Chambertin. This village-level wine shows the classic Gevrey character: deep ruby with aromas of dark cherry, blackcurrant, forest floor and a hint of toasty oak. The palate is structured with firm tannins, good depth and a long, savoury finish. An excellent introduction to one of Burgundy's greatest appellations.
