Château La Tour Léognan is the second wine of the prestigious Château Carbonnieux, one of the oldest classified estates in Pessac-Léognan. It shares the same gravelly, well-drained soils and the same meticulous winemaking approach as its parent château, offering outstanding value.
The 2021 vintage shows a bright ruby colour with a fresh, aromatic nose of red fruits, blackcurrant, green pepper, and subtle oak spice. Medium-bodied and elegant on the palate with fine tannins, lively acidity, and a clean, mineral finish — a classic Pessac-Léognan style.
Appellation: Pessac-Léognan AOC. Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot. Food Pairing: Grilled lamb, roasted chicken, mushroom dishes. Cellaring: 4–8 years.
